Our District is one of 18 within the GFWC California Federation of Women's Clubs. We have nine clubs with a total of 372 members that support local causes, provide educational scholarships, and give assistance as needed. If you live within Ventura, Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo counties, then check out Our Clubs and find one near you. If you don't find one, you can start one. Contact us to get the details.
Our first District Meeting was held at The Somis Thursday Club's Clubhouse in June 1956 with more than 100 in attendance. The Conejo Valley Woman’s club, a newly organized group, was counted as having the most members present. The Monday Club of San Luis Obispo was recognized as having traveled the greatest distance for the day.
